Low vapor permeability – as the name implies, they allow only a small amount of water vapor to pass out of the house. They should not come into contact with the insulation, as this will lead to its dampness and a decrease in insulation parameters – therefore, a ventilation gap is made between the foil and the insulation. The second gap is between the foil and the roofing material.
